Boston and the Aunties

We spent Saturday in Boston and tried to get in as much as we could. We did part of the freedom trail and did a little shopping. We noticed a lot of police officers walking around and there were police at several intersections. It made us a little nervous. When we made it down to Boston Common we realized there was a big anti-war march. Oddly enough there were several messages as we stood and watched. There were pro-vegan, anti-Bush, 9/11 conspiracy theorists and lots of people with rainbow flags. It was a strange sight.

Susie had fun seeing the city for the first time. It was sad to say goodbye to her at the airport yesterday but it was a really great visit. We have not had time like that together in a very long time. Tomorrow we take Mesha to the airport and then it will be just the three of us again. We are bracing for re-adjusting Johnny will have to do with no Aunts to hold him.
