Not too much in the way of news. We enjoyed having Larie's Dad here this past weekend. It was nice timing because Johnny has been sick and just wanted to be held a lot. We took him down to Boston on Saturday. We have not figured out another place to take out-of-towners. Maybe we should check out Maine next. Anyways we were there for a record breaking day for weather. It reached 69 degrees and the old record was 62 degrees. Not that great when people come to visit and expect snow and ice and instead get spring weather. On our way home we stopped at Cracker Barrel and were amused by the wait staff that all had Boston accents. It was an experience. It really seems like northerners get a bad name but our waitress was as nice as any we have ever had in the South. There were some other differences as well: did not sell GRITS t-shirts, interior of the country store was painted cream and the front porch was closed in (see picture). It was sad to say goodbye but we are thankful he was able to be here.
